Through out my courses in this program the subject of barriers comes up often.  There are many barriers that teachers deal with, supplies, students home life, language, and so on.  Then we talk the most often about barriers in technology. 

This  URL http://aquaculturepda.edublogs.org/2008/09/21/what-the-pay-internet-school/ has a blog talking about an educator talking about the biggest barrier in her school using web base resources.  Can you guess what it is?  Some thoughts that came to my mind was, lack of computers in the classroom, no computer lab, or lack of professional development.  The barrier that she encounters is her students must pay for Internet access in her school.

This would be a stumbling block in any school system.  We have children that cannot afford to buy supplies for school.  These students are most likely the ones that would benefit the most from these web base resources.  This makes me realize that it is a sad to leave these resources unused.
